Tinny pizzas

1 standard-sized bagel, tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, toppings like diced green pepper, chopped onion, or chopped tomato (whatever you like), seasonings like oregano, basil, and pepper


Set the oven to low heat. Spread tomato sauce on each bagel half.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese all over the tomato sauce on each half.
Add your favorite toppings. Put a light sprinkling of seasonings on each half. Put your bagel halves on the baking sheet. Bake in the oven on low heat for about 5 to 8 minutes. You'll know they're done when the cheese is bubbly.

Banana bread

1/3 c. butter, 1/3 c. light brown sugar, 3 ripe bananas, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 c. milk, 3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (176 degrees Celsius).
Mix above ingredients.
Pour batter in greased, 8-inch bread pan.
Bake for 1 hour. A toothpick inserted in the middle of the bread should come out clean.

Fruity tofu smoothie

1/3 c. apple juice, 1/2 c. (4 oz.) soft tofu, drained
1 c. fresh or frozen berries, 1 banana, 4 oz. nonfat fruit-flavored yogurt
1 tsp. honey, 4 ice cubes

Place apple juice, yogurt, tofu, berries, banana, and honey in a blender. Cover and process until well blended. While the blender is still running, drop ice cubes into the blender one at a time (through the hole in the lid) until smooth. Pour the smoothies into tall glasses.
